Bridesmaids made this a thing. A funny thing.
Except the truth is, come the end of the month, ever month, this is mine (and every other teacher I know) life mantra.
Getting paid once a month blows forreal.
But thanks to my ever dwindling bank account, I have become quite the expert window shopper.
I can't remember the last time I went shopping for myself.
I've picked up a few random things here or there but mainly I just peruse the aisles, admiring everything on the shelves, but walking away empty handed.
One day (in the words of my college roommate) when I become a famous teacher, I'll finally buy all these things I've been lusting after. And enjoy them in my custom built waterfront home.
Until then, I'll continue to add to my love list.
Just to name a few. Notice how everything is a nice variety of seasons? Thanks to the ups and downs of eastern NC weather lately I can't decide if I want to bundle up in scarves and cardigans or take it all off.
By the way, number 6 is on my love list for two reasons. Bikini and body. Please and thank you.
