About Me

Hey y'all!

I'm Marianna!
Thanks for stopping by my little piece of blogland.
It's a pretty fun place to be if you ask me.

I'm a teacher by day (to 23 cutie patootie first graders)
in a veryyyy small, cornfield town
and a sleeper by night (because those cutie patooties are exhausting).

Somewhere between teaching and sleeping,
I find time to blog.
I was hoping I would have a specific theme for my blog
before getting started officially.

You know, delicious new recipes,
trendy DIY home decor,
clever classroom teaching strategies,
something...anything.

All of these are things that interest me,
and topics that I follow religiously on other blogs.
However, none of them are things I consider myself
even half an expert on.

I do however consider myself to be somewhat of an expert
on sleeping (as I mentioned before),
raising two suuuuper sweet furbabies,
loving my hunk-a-burning love husband,
freely expressing my opinion (sometimes without a filter...whoopsy),
and trying to make people laugh.

So that's me and my blog in a nutshell.
I really am glad you're here.
Kick your shoes off (they're way overrated)
and prop your feet up,
grab a nice, cold beverage of your choice
and stay a while.

I promise you won't be disappointed.

Hugs,

  1. Hi Marianna,

I'm Alissa. I also grew up in a small town. I saw your post on Erin's blog today, and that's why I'm here. I think we'd make great friends.

Football? Beer? Puppies? I'm all about that. And of course, reality TV.

So please excuse me while I blog stalk you!

  3. Oh boy, I express my opinion sometimes without a filter too!! I found your blog through Lauren's! So cute. I can't help but wonder based on your blog name...do you live in Dunn, NC? Especially with the "I live in a very small cornfield town." I'm far toooooo familiar with the small cornfield town--my husband is a football coach for Campbell. It would be way too small a world if that's where you lived!!
