So a few days ago
I mentioned some lovely ladies
that I had been crushing hard on lately.
Well folks,
I'd like to say that one of those blog crushes
has officially been taken to the next level.
I met a blogger......in. real. life.
And as if we needed any more proof
of why I'm the suckiest blogger around town:
I didn't take a single picture of our encounter.
But that's only because
we spent the whole 2 hour lunch talking non-stop.
I love finding people that talk as much as me!
There was just no time for a picture.
Saturday I went to lunch with the lovely Lauren.
And it felt like we had been going to lunches together forever.
Of course, I was late,
because let's be real,
the in-real-life me is never on time.
(Even though it totally wasn't my fault.
Apparently no one else thinks it's normal to drive 5 miles over the posted speed limit.)
It's been a long time since I've gone on a "first date"
and I was very nervous.
But seriously y'all, it felt like I had known this girl my whole life.
She was so sweet and fun and it was so comfortable.
Lauren, thank you so much for meeting me!
I am so excited for this budding new friendship
and I see many more lunch/dinner/drink dates in our future!
Especially come August - tell Josh I am already preparing myself
to throw back some gluten-free treats at an ECU tailgate!
Linking up with Sami for Weekend Shenanigans.
Hugs,

Hugs,
I thought about how we didn't take pictures the whole way home haha! I had a great time too, I definitely foresee more blates in our future, maybe we'll even let the guys come with one time :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo I read this on Lauren's Blog. I love her. Yay gluten free tailgates, im sure that will also cause a few laughs from outsiders.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun! Glad you had great time and forgot to even take a picture. You really have to wonder how much fun a meetup is when everyone manages to find the time to take 50 photos!
