Wedded Bliss Wednesday

I know technically it's Thursday
but I found this really fun linky last night
and because I'm a sucker for a good linky,
and because I love my sweet husband (duh),
I couldn't help but participate.
Even if I'm technically a day late.

Kay at Life After... and Allie at Table for More
(two suuuuuper cute blogs, btw)
have started hosting Wedded Bliss Wednesdays.

This week, it's all about the fellas.

Blogger world:
meet Robbie.
He's 23 and looks like this.

Unless you've been living under a rock you're new to the blog
you've probably heard me mention him once or twice.

His favorite thing to do is play/watch/talk about football.
There's a fine line between love and addiction
and he's definitely walking on it.

He's also kind of obsessed with his truck.
He's got a thing for cars.

(Notice the game day football flags. Fine line I tell ya.)

And beautiful women...obviously.

Monday-Friday he works in construction, for now.
He's also going back to school for his teaching license.

Robbie and I met on AOL Instant Messenger (we were 14)
so I guess the first thing I noticed about him was his impeccable typing skills.
Just kidding.
We really did meet officially online
but we knew of each other and I thought he was wayyy hot.
Because when your 14 that's number 1 priority, of course.
He was also super easy to talk to
and from the beginning we just had fun together.

Robbie has lots of good qualities.
Hence the reason I snatched him on up.
My favorite quality of his is how good he treats me.
Robbie is such a provider and literally will do anything to make sure that I'm taken care of.
There have been times when I've definitely taken it for granted.
Or gotten ticked off because I felt like he was being "over-protective".
But really, I love how he looks out for me.

Robbie's biggest pet peeve is obnoxious football fans
who have no affiliation to the sport or school
but simply jump on a bandwagon
and decide to be completely jerky about it.
He also hates to be asked the same question over and over again.
And when I spend too much time distracted on my phone. Whoops.

As far as blogging is concerned,
I think Robbie's a fan.
It gives me an outlet (other than him) to share all my thoughts
so instead of him hearing a story from me 15 times,
he maybe only hears it about 10 times.
He does think it's a little silly when I talk about "this blogger I follow"
or if we go somewhere and I'm like "I can't wait to blog about this".

But Robbie actually has his own blog.
Yep, he's that cool.
I wrote a whole blog post about it here.
You can visit him and say hello here.

Robbie definitely feels most loved
when I do things to show that he's my number one priority.
It's so easy to get wrapped up in life and work and a trillion other things.
Sometimes we all need to make a little extra effort
to remind our loved ones that they are number one.
Always.

Basically he's a pretty cool dude
and I'm lucky to call him mine
for the rest of my life.
It's okay if you want to be a little bit jealous.

You can be fashionably late like me and link up now
or wait till next week when the girls are talking
all things date night.

Hugs,

  3. Love this post!!! I think our husbands are the same person. That fine line over football? My husband is walking it. And his biggest pet peeve, Wal-Mart U of M fans... he hates obnoxious sports fans above all! So glad you linked up with us :)
